OK so I thought the glass might look kind of fragile but it's actually really thick and seems pretty tough but it's not like they let me smash it on the floor to find out right ;-)

It looks very durable. I opted to get a 7+ red and give my daughter my matte black 7+. But I can completely understand somebody upgrading. It just didn’t seem worth the cost to me.

Yeah the colour to me doesn't really look gold it's more like a really light beige brown or something. It's kind of odd you sort of have to see it in person. But I'm kind of liking that 8+.

I have the silver iPhone 8, and thus far, I’m really enjoying it. As for the glass backing, it feels more plasticky than glassy, in my opinion. The silver color in direct sunlight looks white, but I like it....

Exactly, plasticky is the word it's almost like a softer glass or something but it really does seem tough you can even tell by the sound when I tap the back of it I was impressed! And silver would be very nice. Can you post a pic of your silver?

Also noticing that the glass on the back is sort of curved near the edges just like the front of my iPhone 7.

Also noticing on yours is that the all metal camera bump is gone and it's more like the iPhone 6 again, with a separate "ring" around the camera and this looks more expensive in my opinion.

It’s actually a pretty phone, but the way it looks is somewhat accurate “indoors” in low light, but outside in the Florida sunlight, it looks almost white. I’ll try to take a photo of it while I’m outside tomorrow.

I'm liking the white definitely I wouldn't call that silver at all ha ha so what kind of case do you think you're going to get. I think if I had it I would get a clear Ringke Air or something like that so I could show it off. It's just too nice to cover up man.

Yes, it’s curved. In fact, it reminds me more of a thick screen protector, except for the backplate.

It does look like silver.
Is the glass back easier to hold as compared to the aluminium back of the 7?

According to this they have cut some corners on the quality of the sapphire glass on the camera lens compared to the iPhone 7
