Anyone got that Belkin pad ?

I’m a bit scare by how hot the iPhone 8 become on that pad...

Is it normal and safe ?

Note: A few days after that post I can tell the heat was starting the iPhone as new with a lot of setting and downloading at the same time.
Now I can tell it’s ok and it get just a little warmers then connecting it by lightning cable !

Now I like my Belkin Charger !!!

Well, The Belkin charging seems ok now ! Just a little warm like charging with the lightning cable !

I think it was doing to much setting, downloading at the same time.

I was not restoring from a backup but setting it as new and downloading and going over each of my preferred 86 apps...

It does a little more than wired charging but that’s normal for wireless charging per Apple and Sammy

The Samsung charger is 89.95$ in Best Buy Canada...
And the Belkin is 69.00$ at Apple Store.
So I think I’m gone a keep the Belkin for now.

I paid $21.49 each ( bought two) for Samsung’s after having Best Buy price match an online retailer. Gotta love Best Buy. :)

Waiting for my minimalist Pitaka case, but in the mean time my 6s case witch is a Speck for iPhone 7 fit like a glove on my iPhone 8 ! And it surprise me to work on the Belkin charger pad even if it is a pretty tick case with those no-slip grip side.

There no light on the Mophie pad...
How do you know if your iPhone is charging or well place on the pad ?
On the Belkin there a light. Green is charging. Yellow not charging.

Yeah but it’s not very safe... anyone or anything (your cat or children) that may move it a bit and no charging... to be sure you will have to lift the phone and put it back again...
With the Belkin you could tell just by looking at it even from many feet’s away !

Here a link of a test of both charger Apple sell.

In that case, I would charge by lightning cable.
