I'm still an Apple newbie as I've only been Team Apple since February so I'm not quite familiar with the Apple culture though I am learning. Is the keynote really worth watching? Will I be entranced into a state of must buy it now?? I don't want to drink the Apple Kool-Aid that fast though I already seem to keep filling up my own cup LOL

I personally think it’s worth it.
It’s entertaining and exciting

Oh come on! Uncle Timmy does a good job, even if not as good a job as Steve Jobs. Phil Schiller puts me to sleep though.

I don’t really like the look of the alleged iPhone 8 that’s been depicted throughout the web. Hopefully, it’ll look better when I see it in person, if what’s been depicted is the actual device.

Nope, but if history repeats itself the preorder will start at midnight the Friday after the event (September 15th @ 12:00 AM PST).

So this just happened...I got an invite to a keynote watch party for Tuesday which will include catered food and alcoholic beverages (yeah we stay-at-home moms know how to host a party LOL). Looks like I'm actually going to watch it after all with other Apple peeps :dancing:
