Perhaps, but not if it interferes with user experience by making our devices impossible to hold without messing with things. At least not from Apple.

I would like it to be called Pro, but I don't think the name is going to make people buy it or not.

Not necessarily. Total screen size, yes. But many rumors say the "iPhone 8" screen will have a usable functioning "app" screen of around 5.15", with a total screen size of 5.8". We'll find out next week. Got these from an app developer.

I had a feeling this would happen. The iPhone 8 is looking amazing and I told myself I don’t need it so I won’t buy it. The renders are making me want it but I know I can’t do it because it’s senseless to waste money and lose the $379.12 Verizon is paying on my phone over the next 14 months.

Here’s the plan. No one posts about the iPhone 8 and we act like it doesn’t exist. K? Thanks!

Agreed. I’m tired of people speculating on the name of the next iPhone. I get that all day with customers. Does anyone remember that the 4s was called the 5 before it was released, as the 5s was called the 6 and the 6s called the 7.

When I made the jump in Jan I was given a 529 trade in credit on my Note 5 for my 7+. I got a great deal. I am extremely happy and knowing the phone continues getting the updates I am content. If it wasn't then that would be the deal breaker for me. I don't need a new phone. I take really good care of my devices and it looks new. It performs great.

This is me too. 7s+ will most likely be my order. I personally don't see the point in wireless charging. It's not that much effort for me to plug something in.

There probably won't be a 7s or 7s Plus. Those models will be the 8 and 8 Plus. They will be like the 7 and 7 Plus but with glass backs and wireless charging. The device people are calling the 8 will be iPhone Edition or iPhone Pro.

Somehow the terminology doesn't change my choice.

My point still stands.
