Can’t move / delete appS

For some reason I can’t move or delete apps on the home screen or change apps on the dock. When I press and hold an app they don’t wiggle and give me the little ‘x’ they just open a pop up with more information about the app.

You need to gently touch and hold down your finger. Push too hard and you enable 3D Touch, Force Touch, or whatever it is that Apple calls it.

Light touch is the key.

That is the truth! My husband just got an iPhone 8 from work, and was having a fit because he couldn't delete apps.... so I went and sat down next to him, and showed him how. Light touch is definitely the key!
