How’s your phone holding up without a case?

I have a Apple leather case for my new 8 Plus but never used it I find it too heavy for my shorts pockets so I just use a skin for scratch protection ,so far so good ,I know if its dropped on concrete the right way glass back could shatter .

I used to have a skin for my iPhone 5. But those aluminium days are long gone..

I’ve dropped it a few times too

^This!! I’ve dropped my 8 a million times without a case. Once I even dropped it three times in a row because it kept slipping out of my back pocket LOL. The glass is just fine. I have a few scratches on the screen due to my earrings..nothing major. I’ve dropped my X less times than my 8 without a case & it’s just fine. I say live a little..it’s a phone #YOLO

I have the Product Red iphone 8 Plus and tend to go back and forth between using a case and going careless. I just inspected the phone and do not see one single mark on it anywhere. Mind you, I baby it when I go careless so cannot say I am surprised

I am super careful. I have some cool cases but nothing is better than the Product Red 8 Plus when it's caseless. Such a great looking phone!

I love the look of my new red 8 Plus. Like other phones in the past, I am starting to keep it in a camera bag. I think that's a nice compromise - When not in use it's in its padded bag, but when in use it's nekkid. I love the look/feel of the uncased phone, and then when finished using it I pop it in its bag. These small camera bags hang right off a belt loop.

I kept my last phone (iPhone SE) in a camera bag, and after 18 months of use it's in uncirculated condition. Previous phones = same result.

I never use anything without a case because I am very OCD about my tech looking brand new, but I have a lot of people that I work with who use theirs without cases and every single one has scratches and dings. Some much worse than others.

I go from case to caseless quite regularly and my Product Red iphone 8 Plus is pristine. Cannot find a single mark on it. It's all about how you care for the phone.

True. But sometimes simply putting it on a table could put a scratch or leave a mark.

I have to case my phones. No way naked. Costs a lot. Taking care of it. I know it’s stunning. Only matters to me. Lol
I have my watch screen protected.

My 8+ is holding up pretty decent. Haven’t had a case on for the last few months. I have a dBrand sticker on the back to protect the glass from scratches.
Putting a case on is just too bulky. No matter how thin.
