Moved from an iPhone 7 to the 8+ yesterday, 3/9...first + version of the iPhone since starting with the iPhone 4. So far, wondering why it took so dang long for me to consider the + versions!!

Got the 8+ after three years on the 6. I love the camera and the real estate. But I still can’t accept the dimensions of the phone - it’s so huge!
That's because the design is so old. It's practically a dinosaur. There is absolutely no excuse for a 5.5 inch phone being that huge in 2017/18. Large bezels are out.

Completely agree with you. I find it unjustifiable to sell the same design for 4 years. I had waited out on the 6s and the 7 waiting for a refresh in design. But I couldn’t wait any longer as my 6 was not cutting it anymore and I couldn’t afford the X.
Just purchased an 8+, been on android since day one. Always wanted to try an iPhone and just decided I'd finally give it a try. Going from a Samsung S8+ and a Note 8 to the iPhone 8+. Somethings still seem a little backward but that battery tho. Been using it for about a week and I think the thing I miss the most from android is the ability to customize you phone and make it individual. Probably be posting as I run into things I don't know how to fix or understand.

I think the battery of the 8+ is one of its strong points. Coming from the regular iPhone I am literally blown away by how much longer my battery lasts.
Look forward to hearing your experience. Enjoy your new device.
