geekbench scores

Hello
now I know that people don't take geekbench scores into consideration a lot when comparing tech speeds
but I am just curious , I usually get an average score of 4000-4200 single core and 10000-10200 multi core on my iPhone 8 plus
I know that it's good but I see people getting 4300 single core and 10500 multi core in one geekbench test
I am asking if there is a way to boost my score since I don't get higher than 10200 on multi no matter how much I ran the tests

As far as I know, there is no way. But anyways, why do you even need a higher score? Every iPhone 8 has nearly the same speed, if not the same. You will get a near-same experience on every iPhone 8 handset.

If you check on browser.geekbench.com , you will find most iPhone 8's with a 4000-4200 single-core and a 1000-1200 multi-core score. Very few phones have a score higher than that. The iPhone 8 is a beast of a phone, and you should be proud of that high score you got, as no other phone has reached that level.

Shoot, I don’t even know what those scores mean. I know each new iPhone is faster than the one that preceded it in day-to-day use and that’s enough for me.

But seriously...why do these speeds matter?
Does the phone work adequately? If the answer to that question is, "yes"...then why care about the speeds? Just enjoy your phone and avoid the temptation to chase a meaningless metric.

It makes some people think they’re getting more for their money I guess. Like having a car that can do 140 mph but you can only drive it legally 65.
