Last night i ran my IP8+ down to 1%. Threw it on the wireless charger, heard the charge tone and went to bed. Woke up this am with the phone dead on the wireless pad. I had to plug it in to get it juiced up. Is this normal behavior for wireless charging when the battery is soo low?

It sounds like maybe the phone moved off the contact then. Wireless charging should be roughly the same speed and the brick that comes in the box.

I wouldn't be too concerned. Unlike cable chargers, wireless chargers require the phone to sit in a specific position in order for it to charge. If the coils don't line up then the phone won't charge. Maybe the phone got bumped slightly and stopped charging.

Just some advice going forward, try to keep your iPhone 8 Plus above 10% battery at all time. Bad things can happen when you get near 0% 😃
