Totally depends on which apps you’re using. Since it’s a new device I get that you’re worried to have gotten a defective one, but if you stop thinking like that, you’ll enjoy them more. After a few days when your usage of the device is settled and more according to how you normally use it, you’ll be able to determine if the battery life is worrisome or not. Give yourself a few days to adjust to the phone.

    I know I didn’t get a broken device and I think it’s the apps i’m Using I never get 10 hrs on a charge.

Why does it take 4 hrs to charge on Belkin wireless charger ?

I have no clue. There are several threads about wireless chargers going on iMore.
I’d read through them to have a better idea about the charging.

Wireless charging is SLOW compared to a wired charger. With a wire and the right plug, you get a much higher current because it is a physical conductor... not relying on the inductance of air, which has a MUCH higher resistance...

I use wireless on the night stand because it will sit there when I sleep and so I don't care if it takes 5 hours.

If you are low and need some juice, you need to use the wired charger.

Battery life is affected by many things including how strong your signal is to the carrier and WiFi. Weak carrier signal is going to make the phone work harder and drain the battery faster. Some days my phone drops 10% by noon and some days it drops by 2% in the same area.

    That’s what I do too.
I love the convenience of wireless charging, but it is slow hahaha.

I bought my iPhone 8plus almost 2 weeks ago and I’m loving everything about it. The battery on this lasts me about a day and a half. That’s with heavy usage if I may say. And with the new update 11.2 official that I installed last night seems pretty good. Considering coming from 11.1.2.
