I bought 2 of these Samsung fast chargers. Most of generic ones them online ( including mophie and belkins) are not fast chargers and don’t come with brick and cable.

Whichever Qi charger you like best, there are literally 100s to choose from.

You realize that you aren’t getting fast charging though right?

The fast charging you’re talking about is USB-C wires charging that goes 50% in 30 min, wireless charging for iPhone is capped at 7.5 W which is fast wireless charging ( Samsung’s do up to 10W because it comes with QC3.0 brick ). Most online wireless charging pads are between 3-5W with a 5V 2A brick.
So short answer I am getting fast wireless charging.

No, you aren’t. Apple has to issue a firmware update that will open up the 7.5W charging. As of now it won’t charge at that wattage and is capped.

Actually, you are wrong about the Mophie and Belkin. Both will charge at 7.5W, so both are fast chargers. As has been pointed out, the iPhone currently is maxed out at 5W, and after iOS updates will likely still be capped at 7.5W -- so both the Mophie and Belkin will be as fast, charging an iPhone 8, as your Samsung charger.

I’ve had great luck so far with the Mophie brand from the Apple store. It is black & the cord is black so it blends in better on a dark wood nightstand. Also, no glowing light to keep you awake. It even works through my twelve south wallet case with cards in it!

Man! I forget how sweet it is to rollover before I go to sleep and just set my phone on the wireless charger, and not have to fidget, in the dark with the plug in.

That will destroy debit/credit cards. I wouldn't keep them in the case while on the charger

Something about putting my iPhone on a “Samsung” branded charger just bothers me. Maybe it’s just me. I pre-ordered the Mophie. I’ll wait on that.

Nothing wrong with mixing brands on accessories. I have some things Samsung. Just no longer smartphone.

Yup, me too. The iPhone doesn’t take exact placement like my Note 7 did

If the credit cards are on the front flap of the case they'll be fine. Just like credit cards are fine in wallets with magnetic closures.
