I agree about the Matte Black. I preordered that one last year and that color is my favorite. Matte Black & Black UAG Monarch case equals "my happy". I have always loved that murdered out look on a lot of things, not just phones.

Simple clean dark lines.

Marques Brownlee has posted his Unboxing video, as well as his impressions of the Gold vs. Silver color. He doesn't care for the back of the gold phone, the kind of beige color under the glass. He would go for the Silver or Space Gray. An interesting thing he points out, the box for the gold iPhone is actually an off-white/beige color, rather than the typical white box Apple has used in the past. Here is his video:

I will do more with mine soon, I still don't have it activated. Taking some time with AT&T auto-activation online. Also I may have to restore as new and start over. For some reason I am getting a login request for iTunes for someone I never ever heard of.. someone named Cheryl Gong, I don't even know anyone named Cheryl. But I had a similar issue last year and had to open a ticket with Apple Support. They have problems with old iTunes accounts, those that have been around 8 years etc..
