Official: iPhone 8 Plus Pre-Order / Waiting Room

While we're waiting, what is the new deal with restoring your Photos / Apps / Music / Ringtones w/o iTunes 12.7 (removal of features).. I can see see "Tones" on iTunes. Seems like it's only for "iTunes / Apple" purchases. Stuff you personally own and sync are still there in iTunes

Not completely sure. I don’t think you can sync apps anymore via iTunes. I backup and restore via iCloud so I don’t really both with iTunes anymore. My pictures don’t get backed up in iCloud because I don’t want to pay for storage. They go to google photos. So the only pictures that will come back to my device are those in my photo stream since they don’t take up space. Everything else is OTA for me.

Oddly enough my UPS shipping showed it departed PA at 10:40am. I just looked at it again and it said it departed PA again at 8:20pm. Still not worried about getting it tomorrow, just found it weird.

Still no tracking info for the 8 plus I ordered for my mother right at launch time which is a little annoying. I ordered through sprint like I do every year and I always get them on launch day. Hoping they don't delay the X when I order mine and my wife's.

STILL waiting for UPS to deliver. They are the absolute worst in this area. Fed Ex is always early. Of course, whenever I get something from AT&T, it’s UPS.

FedEx never delivered my phones yesterday. So much for getting up at 3:00 am to pre order. They never left Memphis until 4:37 pm yesterday and is now sitting in a hub an hour away from me. FedEx always fails me. They don't even have an estimated delivery date now.

That's very sad, so sorry to hear that, honestly. I would be devastated. It's like watching a kid take the 1st lick of an ice-cream cone and the ice-cream falling to the ground. Breaks my heart. FedEx is usually better than that.
