Touch id for my iPhone 7 is not working properly

My iPhone unlocks for all those whose touch the touch ID even though i register my fingerprint .

iOS version 12.1.2

Try registering more than one finger. Also, are your hands/fingers callused? This is a major issue with tough ID. As a drummer (bongo's, djembe, cajon, etc) my index, middle and ring fingers on both hands are callused. I therefore have to use either my pinky, thumb almost at the knuckle, or pin (which gets used most often).

Thanks for your information.

I register both hand thumb impression for touch ID. when i touch the id with index finger it will open even i couldn't register the finger. Also i aksed one of my friend to touch the ID, it will also open for Him.

Is this issue is because of iOS update or anything?
