I switched to Apple in January of this yr with 7+
Love iMessage and the gif’s
So is the only way to have them know on 8+ is to go into App Store? There were some funny ones on my 7+ already in iMessage. Isn’t that available anymore? Just curious

From what I know, the only way to get such stuff is via the App Store itself.

The iMessage gifs you had probably need to be toggled back on in the iMessage app store. I have an iMessage app called Pocket Files Pro. Any gifs, videos, and photos I like, I put in Pocket Files and share them from there. You can save most gifs to the camera roll.

The new access bar in iMessage can be filled with third party gif apps such as Jib Jab Bitmoji and many more
