Alarm on iPhone and Apple Watch

Since the update to IOS 11 I cannot turn off my iPhone alarm using the watch. Any ideas how to fix that?

On your iPhone open the Watch app, go to Settings > Clock and enable Push Alerts from iPhone.

unfortunately this doesn't work for me, tried several times disabling/enabling push alerts. first i thought it might be related to theatre mode i always enable when going to bed, but the iphone alarm also doesn't get pushed to apple watch during the day. iOS 11.0.1 and WatchOS 4.0 - worked fine with iOS 10.x and WatchOS 3.x

update to iOS 11.0.02 fixed it for me.
