Charging issue

I put my iPhone with the apple smart battery case to charge around 7 pm at 18% I come back around 12 am at 100% iCloud backup ended at 11:44 pm. I was using iPad charger is this normal ??

I think so but I think it was less I was not paying attention to it but the last thing I saw my backup finished at 11:44 pm

Do you Think the phone charged faster and the case took a little to charger

The iPhone was more than likely at 100% before you checking it at Midnight. As for the iCloud backup, it’s possible, depending on your Wi-Fi connection, internet activity & speed, as well as the amount of data being backed up.

So my phone didn't take 5hrs to charge but the back iCloud backup took longer is that what you mean

I think this is somewhat normal. The smart battery case takes a while to charge. Your phone gets charged first and then the case.

I don't know how the iCloud thing works but for the case, that's just how it is. I personally just choose to charge it while I'll be sleeping.

I’m saying that I highly doubt your iPhone took 5 hours to charge from 18% to 100%. I’m also saying that your iCloud backup could have taken a long time to complete based on the factors I mentioned earlier.

Using the 10W iPad Charger so this is normal to you and also the other the day the iCloud backup didn't complete fully
