iPhone 7 10.3.1 issue

I started my iPhone 7 with smart battery case at 11:30 am at 3 pm the smart battery case died then at 7 pm the iPhone was at 29% is this normal ??

I'm running latest software and phone does get warm.

I'm not sure. Were you using your iPhone the entire time? How bright is the screen setting?

Yes the whole time and the brightness at medium.

Then depending on what you were doing, it may very well have caused your battery to drain quickly. Go to your battery settings to see what was using most of the battery power.
