Unable to see shared photos on facebook messenger

I am unable to see shared photos of one contact in my facebook messenger on ipad or iphone. That contact is not in my friend list on facebook, the shared photos of that contact are visible on my android phone but not on my ipad or iphone. Shared photos of all other contacts( friends or not friends on facebook) are visible on both phones, but not of this one particular contact.

Have you tried contacting Facebook Support regarding this matter? If not, give it a try to see if they have a remedy for you while awaiting a reply.
