Whitish screen when trying to take a photo

I was wondering if anyone else has experienced a whitish grey screen when they open their camera app on their iPhone 7. I have made sure that I cleaned the outside surface of the lens and it still wouldn't focus or get rid of the whitish screen. When I tried Camera+ app, I had no problems.

Any ideas? Thanks.

Do you perhaps have a filter enabled? If yes, the filter option at the top right of the filter screen will be red/gren/blue. If that's the case, tp it and in the filter selections, choose "None".
