Which case are you using on your iPhone 7?

How does it, look from the front?

Originally there was no cutout for the home button. Slickrap Sadie said the piece was extra and I’d have to remove the front. Instead, my son cut the circle you see, so it’s an all-around.

Still using and loving the Aqua Mint Otterbox Commuter but I ordered the Ringke “Flow” in clear today. Reason: it has a notch to put a wrist strap if I want.

I used to have a Ringke Air Prism and sold it, but I wouldn’t have if I knew what the strap notch was for in the first place.

Nice case for $13 Cdn.

Put aside my aqua Commuter for a little while because my Ringke “Flow” case came in. For $12-$13 this case is amazing, it’s got a nice lip over the glass lots of room for a screen protector and covers the camera lens and everything well. Perfectly aligned cut outs for speakers and nice firm “clicky” volume control feel for the buttons.

I had the air prism model before in clear and never should’ve sold it, but I like the flow better.

I also like that there is a lanyard strap loop on the lower left-hand side, so if you want to attach a strap or wristband if you do a lot of walking over sidewalks and stuff that’ll come in handy. Not too many have the lanyard as far as I could tell off Amazon/EBay. Ringke does make their own straps albeit a little pricy.

I just wanted a change to show off the gold colour of the iPhone 7 for a little while. I think they have three or four different colours for these clear cases.

It is a flexible soft silicone rubber with very good grip, but very pocket friendly as well.

Nice!

I ordered caseology clear case but it snapped near the mute switch. I wasn’t too keen on the look really once I put it on the phone so submitted an amazon complaint and went down the refund route. Shame really. Like the look of the ringke case! Interesting!

I must stop getting cases.... I’ve got 6 now I think lol

Thanks ha ha. Yeah Caseology, those cases look pretty good. My buddy was going to have me order one for his G5, but then we noticed this one by vina so it is the one we went with. It’s held up good and he likes it. But the style of the vina reminds me of the Caseology.

Has anyone had both the berry and pink fuchsia leather cases? I was thinking of getting one for my wife, and to me the berry looks darker, but I can't tell for sure from pictures. Also how do they look after some use. I know they darken, but how much?

Otterbox Defender matte black

I read that some people are using it without the front screen protector, because sometimes the protector get scratchy and you have to press harder like for texting or whatever. Also I’m not sure but I think I read the defender has a version that does not come with the front screen protector but you can add your own.

Can anyone clarify this?

Actually, I apologize, I have the otterbox commuter , not defender. I got the version without the protector and brought a tempered glass and it fits great.

I always removed the screen protector from my Defender cases and replaced it with a tempered glass screen protector.

Me too.
I was never a fan of those pre-installed screen protector from the case.
Yup, they're a floating screen protector and stuff gets stuck between it and the screen and it drives me nuts. Plus it looks nicer with a tempered glass or adhesive screen protector.

So am I right in that I heard there might be an Otterbox Defender version offered without the floating screen protector.
