It's a little heavier but it's slimmer than a lot
I'm going with the Apple silicon for my 7+
Went with a simple clear case so i can show off the matte black back plus a nice polaroid picture
It seems I am the only one who likes them naked... ;)
Cheers
I have the Tech 21 case. Love Tech 21. Really the only brand that I fully trust.
Love the Spigen cases but I needed one a bit quicker than I could get one from Amazon so I got a nice Tumi case from Best Buy. I'll still get a Spigen case because I am a case freak.
Yeah, when I used (and if do it again) cases the Spigen were the best out there.
Anyone here have a Speck Presidio? Mine seems to rock a bit when its lying flat on a desk etc. Is this normal? Or did I get one with a slight defect? Thanks!
I had one in my phone for the first couple days, and it did not sit exactly flat either. It seemed to fit fine, just rocked a little when on a flat surface.
Thanks man I guess it's normal then. What case are you using now?
The Apple leather case. Had a few of them, work well.
I own so many phone cases it's a problem. My zugu social pro came in today as well as luvvit ultra armor. Liking the zugu a bit more even if it is less protective.
Anyone have a recommendation for the best slim but protective case? Probably something like this zugu case?
I'm waiting for evolutive lab to make their round of cases.
I'm currently using this case on my matte black 7. Was only 9 bucks from amazon
iPhone 7 Case, Ringke [Onyx] [Resilient Strength] Flexible Durability, Durable Anti-Slip, TPU Defensive Case for Apple iPhone 7 - Black https://www.amazon.com/dp/B01H0WR92M...mUvbUpU2846529
I also have these. Still in the market for an all white case that I'm having a hard time finding.
Got the toughest one they currently have. Otterbox Defender. I gotta have a belt clip, would've gotten the Lifeproof but they're not out until next week.
That case is very protective but it really hides the looks and design of the iPhone...
Cheers
I put mine in an outer box
I have a defender on my Blackberry right now and it is so bulky and hides the whole look of the phone - incredible protection though. That is the exact reason I chose the Otterbox Statement for my iP7+, now I just need the iPhone to arrive....
I loved having the holster for the BB but couldn't find a clear case with holster for the iPhone so I had to get a generic holster to use with the Statement.
After just a month of careful use my two Apple leather cases are showing too many signs of wear, especially since I'm so careful. I own many other leather products I've used for years and none had such a thin veneer of leather. I expect patina sand wear but not complete dulling on the edges of my black leather after only a few weeks of careful use. I'm returning them to the Apple Store. For the last week I've been using my iphone without a case, using only a Sena leather pouch that has a much finer quality of leather. With careful usage and knowing I have Apple Care+ I'm finding using it without a case is the best way for me.
Interesting. I've had the black leather apple case on mine since launch and haven't had any wearing. In face I had a brown and navy for my 6 that I later used on my 6s that still look great to this day.
Apple smart battery case. Love it!
Must have got a bad one. Otherwise I like them.
Maybe they produce it in different factories so the quality standard are different.
I went with the Apple Black Silicone case for mine it looks great and feels great
badelhas I agree. Unfortunately with the line of work I do, I can't worry about design. Need my phone protected.
I'm also using the saddle brown leather case from Apple and I'm loving it, it's holding up pretty well!

I used to have a brown leather case in my iPhone 6 and it protected my iPhone for almost 2 years. The touch on the 7 lether case seems to be a little harder but still very nice. It also seems to be a little more resistant than the 6 leather case.
I use the official Apple Leather Case
What do you do, specifically? Can't a glass screen protector be enough?
Cheers
I'm someone who rarely uses a case as I take good care of my devices. I also don't because I don't like to detract from the look of the phone itself. When I got my iPhone 7 a few days ago, the store rep showed me a Moshi case which perfectly matched the back of my rose gold phone and was very slim and sleek. It's adds next to nothing to the profile and is very comfortable to hold. I love the case and will probably continue to get the Moshi cases in the future.
No case at the moment.
Just as a like them... Naked ;)
Cheers
Wow really? :o
Apple Leather case no signs of wear here. What you doing with that case? Haha.
I switch back and forth between a few Spigen cases, I like a bit of variety and get bored with one look really quickly :P
I first wanted to buy the official silicon Apple case, but I tried it in an Apple Store and it disappointed me quite much, so I finally bought a transparent one at Amazon, by Rinkge Fusion. It costed me only 9€ and I'm very happy with it!

You might wanna check InkCase which is a digital screen case. It adds a 4.3" E-ink screen to the back of your phone case. It connects wirelessly to the iPhone via Bluetooth to transfer eBooks, Photos, Fitness activities, weather, clock, calendar, tasks, to-do lists and many more. InkCase is the world's thinnest and lightest eReader in the world at only 4.1mm and 52g. The latest InkCase i7 for iPhone 7 is upgraded with improved internal technicalities, design, storage space as well as a drop-proof casing.
You can learn more about it here https://www.oaxis.com/inkcase-i7
Anyone like the Defender case? Have any issues with marring around the home button?
I am using one and no marring. I got my phone on the first day they came out, it's a 7, not 7 plus. I was a little leery as I had a Defender on my 6 from day one but a drop still killed my phone. I accidentally dropped my phone from about waist height on a 20 degree day and my phone hit on the corner. I like the Defender but it is not perfect.
I'm with no luck... no version for iPhone 7 Plus...
Cheers,
When was the last time you took the case off to check your phone?
Before I replied to your post. I wanted to be sure there wasn't some new "Otterbox Defender scuffs iPhones" report going around. The one thing I honestly do not like is the screen protector. I am thinking about popping it out and using a glass screen protector like before. The plastic one is better than the one that was on the Defender for my 6 but still seems pretty cheesy to me.
I don't mind the screen protector. But I have seen some posts about marring around the home button and by the front facing camera. I bought one for my work phone, but am wondering if anyone had any issues.
Ok I'm looking at the rhino shield bumper again. I want a slim yellow case. To be honest I wish Apple made one. Thoughts on rhino shield? I hear it really makes phone bigger. Anyone have a nice slim yellow case?
Body Glove from Walmart
I'm using this case from Amazon
https://smile.amazon.com/gp/product/...?ie=UTF8&psc=1
Don't you find that one a little too bulky?
Cheers
It's fine to me.
How do you like it?
I needed a case and didn't want to wait, for the cost it gets the job done. I rate it a 6 on scale 1 to 10.
I have been using this case for my iPhone 6. I think it will fit iPhone 7 when it comes in the mail.
That's clean, brand name and store please. I might have to get one.
For the past week or two, I've been going naked! :o
I doubt that Apple will have any Black Friday deals on cases amirite?
Probably not... I'm hoping Rhino Shield does
Looks like something from Star Wars! ;)
Cheers
We might be working on one in the future :)
I figured as much. I guess a guy can dream lol.
I got mine from martianmetal.
BTW, I got my 7 now, and the case fits, however, camera hole does not. I am going to have to order one for the 7.
Thanks for the tip! ;)
Cheers
I LOVE the camera cutout on this case. Kudos to the designer.
Just picked up the Apple leather case for my Bro's Gold 7. I'm excited about the look, and the aluminum buttons in this year's model are primo.
Looks good! I may just suck it up and get the Apple leather case. I buy all these cheap ones and most of them are just meh. I think I will go with Black. I am just not feeling the saddle brown with the matte black iPhone 7.
I have the black Crash Guard from Rhinoshield for my old 6+. I just ordered one for my new 7 (on sale!). I wouldn't say it makes the phone that much bigger since it's a bumper, but it's a healthy bumper, not wimpy. You know it's there, but the front and back are open to alleviate the perceived bulk.
Picked up these 2 Specks at Best Buy for 50% off
Those look nice indeed. But why not a crystal clear TPU Case?
Cheers
I basically use tech21 for all my apple products.
This is the tech21 case that I use:
Because if everyone used a clear case it'd be boring lol.
TPU cases always turn yellow over time and look nasty.

This Anker Toughshell Elite has given me peace of mind more than any other case. Magnets are powerfully strong, protects the screen, and is even a stand.
It may fit, but camera is larger and will not fit. None of my 6 cases were able to accommodate my 7
From the looks of it. It might fit.
Yeah, ones quicker than others but you have a point.
I'm one of those wild people that uses an iPhone without a case.
I got my new martianmetal case on my new phone. Frankly, I am never going to use any plastic/rubber case for my iPhones again. Martianmetal cases are much better than those flimsy plastic/rubber ones. I hate plastic/rubber ones because they make my $800 phone look cheap. Plus I love the magnetic back. Just pop it onto any steel surface and it will stay. I love putting it on my fridge. I love metal cases because the feel of it is so smooth, not to mention aesthetically pleasing, and low weight high strength aluminum combo is simply smart. One important recommendation though, if you’re not going to buy a metal case then do yourself a favor and don’t hold one with it on. That way you won’t know what you’re missing.Attachment 114449
Where would one find one of these?

Currently! Lifeproof on sale at best buy for $39.99
Thanks for the tip!
Rocking ocean blue as my daily, but red will be my back up.
I tried the Spigen Liquid Armor, but like the Spigen Neo Hybrid a lot more. Seems more durable and less flimsy around the edges by volume rocket and charging port. Amazon has them for $15, so a couple bucks more than the Liquid Armor.
I think that Ocean Blue complements the Gold phone really well. Good choice.
Speaking of cases. I doubt these are really official Apple leather cases coming from China right?
Just looking to save some money.
Thanks.
Original Offical Genuine Leather Case fit for Apple iPhone 7 / 7 plus Case Cover | eBay
I think there's no chance that they are authentic Apple. The title "Original Official Genuine Leather Case" seems to give them an out to say "we didn't say that they were Apple." 98.7% feedback suggests that some people have caught on to their racket. A recent negative even says that the buttons didn't work. You'd never have that happen with an actual Apple case.
I tried the leather case and it looked and felt really great. Buttons were responsive. But it didn't feel like it would protect my phone. Put the Lunatik Air 360 back on.
You're right. Me thinks I am gonna have to just get one from Apple. Thanks!
I am using the Tech 21 impact clear case. So far so good. I like the fact that it is clear and it feels nice in the hand.
Also about girls dropping phones. When I worked at American Eagle years and years ago, I would always hear stories about how one of my co workers (typically a girl) would drop their phone into a toilet. I have no idea how this would be accomplished. Also my sister got a Samsung Galaxy s5 active and didnt think she would need a case and she ended up dropping it cracking both the screen and then plastic casing.
That looks nice [emoji1360] !
The toilet dropping comes from putting phones in back pockets because women's front pockets are puny for whatever reason and us sitting down to pee.
Otterbox Defender until my Lifeproof comes in.
This just arrived today from Apple
After a few months of use, here is my small review of the leather case. Overall I'm pretty happy with it and it's holding on very nice.

Ohhh you're tempting me
Red battery case + black iPhone 7 = tear in my eye
Man that looks good.
It's a nice change from gray/black or white.
apple silicone case
I use Quadlock

I had the Nomad Grey Leather case. I wouldn't recommend it. I returned it after a day unfortunately. The button were mushy, and the mute toggle was a pain to get to. I ordered the Apple Ocean Blue Silicone case. It gets here tomorrow, so we'll see how it does.
That looks really cool!
$16.99 at target but I had them price match amazon
