Any news about RAM??

I'm assuming it's the same. I guess if apple doesn't public ally say something awesome about the ram then it's the same as last generation

I though 2 GB was what the current phones had.

Apple never put in the specs how much RAM their iDevices have. You'll have to wait reports from people who get their hands on it.

I heard the plus was going to 3gb ram while the regular would still have 2. Will have to wait to see for sure.

Apple never releases anything "official" regarding specs like that. Tear downs after release are the only way to get specifics on RAM, but given their recent (meaning last generation) update to 2GB, I don't see anything on this phone that would tell me Apple bumped the RAM specs up again. It's almost assuredly still 2GB.

2gb of ram is good for a phone, I feel anything more than that is pointless in a phone.

Pretty sure 7 will have 2GB of RAM, and the Plus will get 3 GB

Great news. Didn't expect it and didn't specifically went for it. But if it really is true than that justifies my choice for the 7 plus even more.

Apple doesn't like going down the spec road. IMO because it will make them look much worse than a mid range android device. things like RAM, Battery Size and Screen resolution.

As far as i know, both models have 2GB RAM. Which should be enough to keep the device running smoothly. Apple's IOS is not as heavy on RAM like Android is.

Yeah O.O I couldn't believe that. Even in GSM arena it's mentioned as 3GB RAM for 7+ and 2GB RAM for 7.
OHHH MAN!! that's huge and unexpected move by Apple.
