I heard a rumor that when the iPhone 7 comes out, it will not have a 16GB option available? Is this true?

It makes no difference if they make one, you still don't have to buy the 16GB version. Buy what is right for you. I am happy with the 16GB version.

It might make a difference in price. If the entry level phone is $X, and all you have is $X. then if it's the 16 gb, that's it.

I think it will be 32, 64 or 128 with a possible 256 pro model BUT don't hold your breath on that last one, and of course I'm only guessing! But yes I think 32 will be the new minimum. With the most popularly sold unit being the 64 model.

At this point 32/64/128 makes sense. Was a 32gb user with first iphone (4s). When they offered the 64gb for the price of 32 I took that and never looked back. Would probably just do 64 no matter what. It works for me.

I think there might be a 16gb version, we'll know in a couple months. I'm satisfied with mine.

I'm guessing of they do eliminate 16GB, which there is a really good chance of happening, it will be replaced by 32GB. Because if 64GB becomes the base model then everyone will just get that instead, resulting in Apple losing more money than if they made 32GB as the base model.

16 GB of storage is becoming increasingly hard to manage. I wouldn't be at all surprised to see the iPhone 7 start at 32 GB and go up to 256 GB at the high end.

As cheap as memory cards are these days Apple just needs to give us what we need and deliver on memory space . After all its a win win more space= more apps and cha ching more money in Apples pocket.
