Portrait Lighting for the 7 Plus ???

Will the 7 Plus get the new Portrait Lighting feature that will be on the 8 Plus and X ?

No. It requires the device to have the new A11 bionic chip, and only the 8 and X have it.

the only thing that i want from the iphone x is the ability to do portrait mode from the front facing camera. I love my 7 plus and don't need to upgrade but i just might have to :crying:

Portrait lighting doesn’t interest me personally. But if you want it badly enough then you probably should look at upgrading. I just loaded iOS 11 on my red 7+ and I’m very happy.

I’ll wait for the X2, love my 7+ but I’m new to iPhone since 5S so it’s a big difference and loving iOS. For everyone else needing a refresh I get it. Thanks for the suggestion

It’s a cool feature indeed, wish I had it. But the optimal image stabilization on X looks like it’ll be killer.
