What's the worst water experience you put hours through? I only ask as I work outside but have a otterbox defender case on my iPhone. I just don't like the lifeproof due to the muffling affect it has.....
    Thanks all....

I once had to rinse mine off because there was some soup spilled on it.
The relative I was visiting looked strange at me
But I avoided the ear speakers and the bottom of my phone, because waterproof or not, I don’t recommend what I did.

The only water that gets on my iPhone on occasion is light rain, and I mean very light rain. Even if it were waterproof, I would still do everything possible to keep my iPhone from getting wet.

A thunderstorm. And I mean the "where's the Ark" kind of thunderstorm. I was soaked right through. When I finally got out of the rain, I took off my case to find there was water in it as well. I gave it a quick wipe and went along with my business. No ill affects whatsoever.

I act like I have in the past. Mine is in my purse when not using . I just take good care of it and even though I know it is waterproof, I haven't tested the waters on it. LOL. Nor do I want to.

I took mine to a waterpark a few weeks ago. I took it into a wave pool. My daughter asked to borrow it, I didn't pay attention to where it went. Next thing I know she's coming down a water slide with it. She said the line was too long, she wanted to listen to music while she waited lol.

Just had mine splashed a couple times taking pictures of the kids in the pool, etc. I'm not putting it to the test, but it was nice knowing I had some layer of protection.

My three year old decided my phone needed a bath like he did. So, one time after looking for my phone for about twenty minutes I noticed little wet footprints, followed those to find him washing my phone in the bathtub.

Another time my kid thought my phone needed to go potty so he put it in the toilet and tried flushing it. So yes I’d say the phone is in fact waterproof.
