What's my iPhone worth?

I know and work with a lot of people with that have the iPhone 7/7 Plus and I don't see this being much of an issue. I would say the problem/issue isn't enough for a recall.
It's not much of an issue for those that are not having problems.
The internet is flooded with complaints with call and LTE issues with the 7 and 7 plus, but I do see your point as well.

Other than needing to have my 7+ on 3G I have had no other issues. I made the switch from Android in Jan dumping Samsung. I have no issues with call quality or reception being on 3G. There are certain areas in Phx the LTE doesn't work for me. I saw the genius expert at the Apple Store and told me it's the phone's antenna. Hopefully it can be improved upon but the phone is exceptional and I am happy. Issues I had on my Sammy aren't happening on my iPhone. That's important to me. I don't really care about LTE. Whatever works is fine with me. The phone is fast. Downloads are fast. I gave no hiccups. Battery life great. Apps are good. Need I say more?

My 7+ was purchased at the local Verizon store. I live in a very small town in Kansas. Now...I don't use my phone for calls that often (I'm just not very popular I guess) but I've not had any issues with signal strength.

I've noticed my WiFi will disconnect and reconnect thirty seconds later.

You need to go into Field Test mode and find the actual, numerical, signal strength to really be able to compare between different phones.
I leave mine in Field Test Mode permanently. My family "made" me do it for all of theirs too. Bars? We don't use no stinking bars.

T-Mobile received a carrier update this week (28.4). I updated last night. Maybe this could help some phones with bad reception.

Is this supposed to work with the Intel modem? I tried a few weeks ago and it goes into field test mode but no signal numbers.

Click on settings, click general, click about. If there is an update you'll get an onscreen prompt. You can also scroll down to see which carrier update you have. I'm just figuring this all out myself. I've only had an iPhone for two weeks.

Of course updates can sometimes make things worse. Seems like you have nothing to lose though.

I'm not sure, I have the Qualcomm modem. Also please note that I made a typo, dial Dial *3001#12345#*

I just get a menu where everything is blank and says something like come back later. I think I read somewhere that it doesn't work for the Intel modem. I was hoping to compare the signal results to my last Android phone while still in my return window.

Can someone confirm that dialer code works with the Intel modem?

When I am at my friends I can't use my phone. Reception is horrible but when on Samsung it wasn't an issue. Her daughter has same issue. When on 3G it is ok. But not LTE. Go figure.
I am going to try reporting her address to Verizon

I can say for sure the signal is not as good as the 6 Plus on Verizon. It is not horrible, but i have experienced drop calls in random areas that I had not had issues in the past. It happens the same way every time; the person cannot hear me or I cannot hear them right before the call drops. I did have more issues will my old SIM, but is does still happen even now. There are couple areas that I always dropped calls with the 6 plus and I still drop them with the 7 plus. I just got rid of a Pixel that never dropped calls in those same areas. I can live with what I have now though
