    I always use the big iPad charger for my gf's Plus phones.. No issues and goes pretty quick .

    I've been using the charger that came with my iPad for a few years now. It's the bigger 12W charger. Compared to the one that comes in the 6S/6S+ box, it charges about 20 minutes faster.

    I use the iPad charger for the iPhone.
    I also have a Sharper Image 6 port charger and use the 2.1A output to charge the iPhone (got it on sale at Sam's Club for $4).
    I also have a 40W multi port wall charger which I use occasionally.
    I have listed my preferences from first to last.
    Hope at least one of this will fit your needs.

    The fastest I have seen so far is using my iPad Pro USB C to lightening combo on my 7 plus. Charges both my iPad Pro as well as iPhone 7 plus much faster.

    I'll say that the cable itself doesn't matter. What matters is the output it gets from the outlet or external charger. Apple does say in the iPhone paperwork that no one reads that you shouldn't use more than 2.1 amps. 2.1A is exactly what the iPad wall brick offers, so I will also recommend the iPad wall brick with whatever cable you want to use.
