Why in the world is there no call reject button when the screen is off?

This is one thing I hate about the iPhone. If you receive a call while the screen is off why is there no call reject button?

You can press the red 'Hang up' button.

Indeed, I just saw that.. 'Slide to answer' only. I think your only options would be the Power or Volume Down button.

Yeah, sucked a lot more before I could reject a call from my wrist ha ha. I hate it myself, even with the ability to cancel from my watch.

You can't slide up somehow?
Because there are still the 'react with textmessage' things. So you should be able to invoke them. So i think it should be possible to reject a call and then you can choose to sent a message.

If you hit the sleep/wake button twice it rejects the call.
When you receive a call the screen lights up with a slide to answer only, slide to reject would also be nice.

Maybe Apple will figure it out within the next 10 years.

If you cut the call early, they will know. Silencing it with the power button let's it ring on their end and they have no clue. I think pushing the power button twice ends the call immediately.

This is correct, it sends it straight to vm.

Well the person trying to call you doesn't know, so what difference does it make?

Or are we just trying to find something new to completely ***** about?

If you have an Apple Watch paired you can reject the call on there.
