I'd recommend 128GB minimum. 32GB just doesn't cut it these days. Especially with the size of apps and photos now increasing.

I usually get 32 or 64 depending on device. However this time I had to get the 128 or 256 due to lack of choice. I have about 1000 audio files and 2400 photos and a couple dozen episodes of TBBT and still have 90GB Free on a 128. A 256 would have been so much overkill.

128gb should be fine unless you're shooting a ton of 4k video or download a lot of movies from iTunes to your phone. I went with 128gb myself after being fine with 64gb for the past two years

I have a128gb device and I'm more than happy. If you prefer to keep stuff stored on your device and you watch movies on your phone and store videos then 256gb will meet your needs for sure. If you are getting the jet black you only have those 2 storage capacities.

Odds are you will NEVER see it.. it will have little to no effect in day-2-day use. Exceptions may be if you're down to under 1GB of space left on your device.

I got the 256 JB only because that's all that was in stock. I would have gotten the 128GB if it was there but I wasn't walking out of there without an iPhone 7 Plus lol

I'm upgrading from a 64gb iPhone 6s to the 7plus. Trying to decide between 128gb vs 256gb. I was thinking 128 is enough. Verizon is trying to sell the 256gb. Not sure if I need it or b/c other phone is back ordered until 11/30. Any advice?

The 128 gig is necessary. After using the 32 gig and not having enough space for video I went back and exchanged for a 128 gig. The 32gig was locking up and no responsive since it was full from day zero.

Yea I had a 32 GB 7 Plus and also went back and exchanged for a 128 GB like two weeks ago. I thought I could manage with a 32 GB but then I started taking more pictures and video than normal with the new camera and I plan on keeping this phone for two or three years before I upgrade again. So I figured spending the extra 100 for more storage was the way to go. I just wish apple would finally add a SD slot on their phones one of these days ha.

If you plan to shoot a lot of 4K video and KEEP them on your phone, you better go with the 256gb
But if you don't shoot much video, and/or transfer it off your phone from time to time, 128gb will work great.
I'd stay far away from the 32gb if you like photos/videos

It really depends on how you use your phone. I don't stream music and like to have all my music library on my iPhone. I also don't want to worry about deleting photos that I take, so for me I got the 256 G this time. I'm planning to take more videos now too so those files can be huge.

I have my iPhone setup to my liking and have the 256GB JB. I'm not a person that downloads a huge amount of apps. I stream music from Spotify and have some playlists downloaded to the phone and as of right now I have 240GB still available. Just nice to have so much space and not worry about anything

Anyone order a 256GB recently? I just ordered the 256GB MB+ yesterday and my shipping estimate is 11/28-12/19 No matter how hard I try, I can't wrap my head around how a company as large as Apple can't keep up with demand every single year. It seems to keep getting worse.

Yes that is very important, we are regulary transffering 5GB videos from iPhone to PC...

GSM Arena - ''In practice it would be really hard to spot the difference in performance between the three models in real life. They are equally fast and there is no lag whatsoever.''

I have 128 and have 97 GB free. I don't Store music though since I use Apple Music and majority of my pics are in iCloud photo. I have 40 GB's of pics in the cloud and maybe only 10 of those 40 are taking space on my device. 32 would be too small for many except new iOS users. 128 is the sweet spot. I know many who got 256 but they got it because 128 was not available.

I ordered 256gb JB+ on October 7, estimated ship date is Nov 30-Dec 15...fwiw I am in Canada- don't know if that makes any difference in shipping times. This will be my first iPhone and I can't believe I am going to wait for so long to get a phone.

That's crazy. The day I returned my Note 7 back they had two JB 256GB sitting right in the Rogers store. This was just over a week and a half ago. I would have taken the 128GB if it was there but I couldn't walk out without a phone. Had to jump on that. Try checking Apple's site each day. You should get lucky

32 gb cuts it with a lot of people. Just not folks on the forums. Music is the key. If you're gonna load up heavy with music, you'll need more than 32.

THIS.

The majority of users on this forum do NOT represent the majority of everyday users. As always, get what you can afford but 32 GB is fine for a lot of people.
