I have big hands and this is the first time I have had a plus model phone and I admit at first the phone felt big but after like a week it feels natural now. I am still able to text with one hand (though it's a little bit of a strain) but dictation helps.

where's the odd question? lol. I have long fingers too and I can easily use it with one hand. My wife has pretty average hands and can use it one handed. She has to as she feeds our son.

If it did I would be to worried that it would loose its hold.
