Available memory on 7 Plus

Hooking my 7 Plus up to iTunes I see out of the 256GB there is 231.52GB actually available for use.

This does NOT take into consider ation the media/etc I have on my phone, as that brings it down to 222.25GB

There seems to be 25GB "missing" somewhere.

Anyone else seeing the same thing?

I think that is always taken up by the preinstalled apps and iOS. I've always seen that on every iPhone I've owned.

Yeah i recall that too, just didnt seem like it was that much....usually around 5-9GB max

I think you're right. Maybe it's because this version of iOS requires more space?
