With Apple Care plus screen replacement at only $29 I am seriously considering going without a case but want to protect against scratches. I have looked on amazon but didn't find much, just a few ones with reviews from peoples that got them free. (Side note, I hate amazon for doing that, it makes it way to hard to figure out what is a true review. I have not yet seen one give below a 4 star review on anything).
I ordered the naked series from Slick Wraps to protect the jet black finish. Check them out, pricing is pretty reasonable. I also agree with D Brand as well. Their skins are pretty solid.
Best Skins Ever is a solid player here. Used them before with good results. My favorite combo is a Best Skins Ever back film with a ZAGG HDX on the front. Their stuff is great, it just has that orange peel texture on the screen.
Get you a totallee scarf or peel case. Both are as thin as skins and cover the sides as well. And then grab a screen protector of your choice.
I had the totallee for my 6s plus and the one for my 7s plus will be arriving this week. So thin it's hard to tell a case is on it. And I'm putting an xtremeguard (wet) screen protector on it like I do all my phones.
I've been using the BestskinsEver since iPhone 3GS (I think, maybe earlier) and they are awesome for protection. I went matte front (or use a glass screen protector) and gloss back. It isn't the easiest thing to install but once it's on, and it's installed properly, it will last.
Does anyone have any experience with Bodygaurdz? It looks like their back skin wraps around to cover the sides with one piece. I was thinking about buying it, but at $25 I would like some real world feedback. $25 does include front and back and I already have a Zagg HDX on the front.
Another vote for Bestskinsever. I've tried dbrand, invisible skin, decal girl, and none of them come close to invisible skin for clear protection and look of the phone once applied. They are very reasonably priced and its a no frills product. They send you the skins only in an envelope and they fit like a glove. I have them now on my 7Plus Matte Black and they are awesome. I recommend the simple skin for the back as the full wrap around the back can be tough to apply with the corners.

So they are shipping them for 7 and 7+ currently? I was just on their website and it says "pre orders now open" and assumed they were not shipping yet.
I am placing an order this morning for a glossy full back wrap and a glossy simple back wrap.

I have had the front one on my iPhone 6 for the last two years and whilst it is starting to peel at the edges due to my case, it still remains largely scratch free. I love it so much I bought the 7 plus one in readiness for my phone arriving on Friday.

Skinomi all the way! I have a skinomi clear back on my iPad pro 12.9 and all my phones. They are amazing
Dchandler what happened on your install of the dbrand skin?
Not sure about him, but my issue with their skins is the corners. I've followed the directions to a T and I've never been able to not have a sharp point where the corners meet. Felt terrible to hold so I just ended up removing them both times I tried.
Well what I do with the corners I heat them up pretty good with a hair dryer and then place phone on a microfiber cloth on the table on each corner and roll each corner. Stays on well for me
