Telephoto Lens for Video Recording?

Dumb, noob questiion, sorry, but I'm going to be new to the iPhone after years of Android & WP.

Will the 2x telephoto lens work for recording video? I would like to use it to record my daughter playing VB, and having a 2x lens would be beneficial for that. If not, I would chose the size of the 7 over the 7 Plus most likely. TIA!

Check out the post I put up yesterday. Some photographer used the 7+ to take pics and video and he was shooting video and zooming in and out. So yes the telephoto lens can record video.

Yes you can toggle between lenses and the response time is near instant.
It gives the feeling of a pro camcorder if used correctly. In the hands of someone that's not experienced it will be very annoying. Like the very unprofessional whip zooms in the reality show Counting Cars. I had to stop watching because of that. Nice thing is AF is sync'd on both cameras so there is near instantaneous AF response time. It's a game changer that's for sure. (to those experienced in the matter that use the capabilities, that is)
