My plan is to get the 7 Plus under this plan, then next year when the 8 comes in, turn it in for the 8. I'm passing my existing 6s Plus to my wife as I had purchased it outright. So already anticipating my questions about the turn in process next year.....
Was it simple ordering a 7 if you are under the program now?
Do you just order it on the ATT site like I was able to on ordering day in a fairly painless manner (I seem to recall reading issues about that).
When do you have to turn in the existing phone?
What kind of shape does the phone you turn in need to be in? I believe I may have read working condition, no cracked screen and normal wear and tear but can't recall if that was on the ATT site or not.
Does an evaluation get done after you turn it in where you won't know exactly if you got hit with any costs until after the fact?
Do you have to turn in everything - phone, box, charger, new headphones and dongle?
I'd like to have an idea how pristine the outside needs to be before ordering some kind of case. Thanks.
I was told (not sure if true)... 14-days to turn it in, no cracked screen or visible damage. Only the phone, accessories not required. Evaluation done after the fact. I will (assume) normal wear and tear is acceptable.
