I bought and reviewed the Flex Guard. Wasn't a fan of that one. Mobile-Reviews-Eh.ca really like the Level case and loves their screen protector. I'll have to try a different case by them and see how I like it.

I was just looking at this in rose gold but in the pics it shows slits in the corners. Does the case have those slits or does it just look like that in the pics?

Bottom two corners have "slits" the top corners however do not. The volume buttons are "slits" to allow volume up and down to be used. Good fitting case, pretty grippy in hand. I like it for a Slim.

No sir. Hard plastic all around. I have a skin on back of phone, clear, and this fits fine in conjunction with it though.
