So far, so good. Love how the sides "narrow". Feels really good in hand. Seems to be just the right weight. Initial impressions are greater than 2/3 of the cases I have experience with.

What keeps the edges of the phone from getting scratched?
Is there padding on the inside edges?

Inside the metal it's rubber/plastic. Pop phone in side to side. Put bottom on and gently center phone, if it's not, then put top on. Inside isn't any harder/rougher of a rubber as any other case we use. When I take off I can snap some pics. This is best I have tho at moment

No. He didn't get a refund, Amazon gave him a case 2x his refund.

Actually they had to give a refund because I charged the $72 twice but yes; I essentially paid $72 for this Element. It's sweet case too. I offered to pay difference but

As much as I like their overall designs I refuse to buy them because of the headphone jack cutout. They had to redesign anyway for the bigger camera so why not just keep selling two different models? I also feel this way about any other cases that included a headphone jack cutout.

Production costs.
