Who plans on getting this phone in the 256GB variant?

Just curious who is choosing to go with 256GB as an option. Besides having the extra $100 to spend and just having that comfort zone (which is usually what I do), who uses that much space on their iPhone?

I also tend to think that the pictures that the 7 Plus, specifically, is going to take, will take up a lot more additional space for those that do a lot of picture-taking, no?

I definitely am gonna go for the 256.
There is no shame in wanting extra space on the phone.
I like taking photos and filming and now I can just keep them on the phone without having to worry about space.

I'm going for the 256gb model. Not saying I need it or will ever use all that space but I just want it. BIG DAWG is in the house. Lol

32 would work for me. My Android phone has a 32gb sd card and it takes a year to fill up before I back it up onto my laptop. I also use Google photos for cloud backup.

I'm not. I'll stick with 164. It's plenty for me. I upgrade every year and won't fill it up.

I am getting the 256 GB. I have the 6 Plus 128 GB. Before that I always got the highest GB available. Why?
Because the last thing I need to stress over is running out of space on my phone.

I am absolutely 100% ordering the 256gb. I usually always go with the highest storage available as well and have had times when I was pushing very close to full capacity on the 128gb with video and photos from traveling.

Better to have it and not need it, than need it and not have it, in my opinion.

Also going big - plan on shooting 4K videos and a ton of photos. I backup but it's nice having things on device when you feel like it.

Though I have the 128 and have about 60gb left to use I think I will go with the 256 in Jet Black. I think that variant will be a little easier to get initially and will sell for more next year. I am doing AT&T Next to buy it so it will really only cost me about $4 extra per month, not a bad trade off.

Right now, it's probably the best option if you take lots of pics, especially in HD and also if you record in 4K 60fps...

I'm gonna go with the 128. The 256 for me is to much. I don't keep photos on my phone, mostly store what I'm gonna keep to drop box. Music wise, since going to apple music I stream mostly everything and maybe download a few songs here and there. Mostly keep about 2-3 movies and probably a season or two of a TV series. Right now currently have the s7edge 32gb on board storage and 200gb sd that hasn't been touched.

I have a 128GB iPhone 6 Plus. I have about 21GB free. I don't actually keep track how much free space I have. But, I also do try to push as much as I can to the cloud. I certainly don't need 256GB but might get it if I had the money.

Thought about it mainly because it might be more readily available then the 128. I'll try for the 128 but if not I will not hesitate on getting the 256 even if I will never come close to using it all

I currently have a 64g and have about 19g left so not sure if I need the 256g but never having to worry about space would be great. Could carry all my pics and movies.

I usually get the highest storage available also. I don't really need 256GB, but I may take advantage of it by filming more video and taking more pictures.

I am, I'm currently on a 128GB iPhone 6 and haven't even used half of it, but with the iPhone 7 having two cameras I definitely expect to take more pictures and videos with it.

I will also add my entire photo library from my computer to my iPhone and will download all my 9k songs in Apple Music for offline listening.

I will most definitely be getting the 256GB. So many PodCasts... Including iMore :)
