its very confusing.
can you explain this storage thing to a noob please?
Ive deleted most of the photos on my phone. On my phone the icloud storage says I am using 1 GB of storage, but this screenshot is saying Im nearly maxed out.
what gives?\

Your iCloud storage is not the same as internal storage. You may have a lot of Apps and data apart from the photos that you deleted.

The internal storage comprises the Apps which you can see on the screens, plus their data. You can go through them, removing any that may be superfluous. You can also just delete individual Apps, but keep the data in iCloud. You may also have lots of stored Messages. Deleting these as well as accompanying photos attached can save you a lot of space. You can access the details under iPhone Storage in Settings.
