When did you update? It takes up to 24 hours for the update to settle and go back to normal battery life.

Hello and welcome to iMore! As @Tartarus has said, if you’ve recently just downloaded 11.4 it can take a couple of days for your phone to settle down and battery life should return to normal. if it’s been several days since you’ve downloaded 11.4 could be a battery issue. I noticed that you have a 6s and that battery does have some problems. Apple is offering a battery replacement program for the 6S. So,you might want to consider contacting Apple support about a battery replacement, if you haven’t already!

I have a 6s bought as-new from apple store last year. Same issue, and it's been more than a week since upgrade to iOS 11.4

So while it may be a battery issue for some people, I'm an example of a 6s having the issue well past time after upgrade and with effectively zero chance it's the battery.

It may be an app or two misbehaving. Try swiping any suspect apps out of multitasking. Then restart the phone.

I can confirm there was a build of iOS 11.4 that ravaged battery life on my iPad. I’m currently on the iOS 12 beta on my iPad and the battery life has been fixed. While you should always check for misbehaving apps, it could possibly be iOS 11.4.
