how do you send an email link and attach a photo

iphone 6s. Viewed a link with phone on line. Want to attach a photo out of phone and send together in an email to a recipient

I've never sent a link and a photo, but seeing as I've only had an iPhone 3 weeks, I'll take a shot at this one.

I'd say copy the link you are looking at in Safari. Then go into your photos and select the photo you want to send in email. Press the send/share icon on the photo you want to send () to email. Once the email opens, type in your message and then paste the link you copied from Safari.

Again, I have not done this yet but I'll give it a try.

You can also go to mail, press the text field for the option bar.
Tap the caret to the right.

Then tap for photos:

Choose photo and paste link in email.

I'm having the same issue but just with the photos part... How do I attach a photo as opposed to 'inserting' it into the body of the email?
Also what's the add attachment button for?

Attachments are like documents from apps like Documents 5 by Readdle.
The photos sent as I showed above are attachments. In the mail app, photos are not embedded in an email. They can be saved by the recipient.
