Can I use my iPhone 6S (Verizon) in Tanzania?

I am going to Tanzania and have the iPhone 6s Verizon, I can exchange the SD Card and was wondering if I can use this in TZ or not..... Thanks Dave

You mean the SIM card. Verizon iPhones are not locked, so if you can find a local SIM card that works, you can put in a local SIM card, yes.

Not sure if they have 3G or LTE there or not, but assuming they have a basic 900/1800 GSM/EDGE network you're covered with just about any phone on the market nowadays. And yes the Verizon iPhones now are all unlocked. Drop in a local carrier SIM card and enjoy. May need to buy and bring your own SIM card cutter though.

There are 7 mobile operators in Tanzania, and 3G coverage (spotty)... Some operators even sell iPhone 6S , so it will work for sure with a local SIM
