    Welcome to iMore!

If "Forget Network" fails to help you and you've already tried a hard reset, try changing the channel on your router. There may be too much interference, and changing the channel can help improve your wifi signal. There is some free software out there that you can install on a wifi enabled pc that gives you a lot of good information. A few of them are even browser based so there's no install.

Try "Forget Network", reset settings and reload wifi router. And connect again to network. This might help. Or if you are trying to use public wifi - then its just a bad network.
