I want to set up my 6s under settings, phone, don't have the enable wi-fi icon.

I'm in a bad service area at times, and I understood this iphone would be able to correct this issue. Any help would be appreciated.

I have Walmart family plan.

Whether or not the iPhone 6S will "correct" a bad service area is doubtful. A bad service area has nothing to do with the phone. Anyway, in regard to enabling Wi-Fi on the iPhone 6S, go to Settings → Wi-Fi.

Tap blue i

Enter wifi passcode
