I understand I could have done this when initially setting up the iPhone, but is there a way to do this after the fact? I backed up the Andorid phone, so I have all the information in an excel file. If I can't do it, no big deal. Thanks.

There is an app on Google Play Store called Move To iOS and I think you can use it after setting up your iPhone.

I tried the move to iOS. It seems that after launching, I need to go to "iPhone Setup" on the iPhone. However, I can't find that - I'm wondering if that is only present when first setting up the phone.

You can only transfer text messages from your android phone to the iPhone when you first up the iPhone using the move to iOS app. It doesn't let you do it afterwards

Thanks, that's what I figured. A history of them in an excel file works, probably better. I collected a lot of texts over the years, some should never be seen again!
