Ready at Best Buy

Folks, just got an email from Bestbuy that my iPhone 6s is ready for pickup today.....awesome!!!

Email reads " your order will be ready on 9/24"

I was shocked also and they will give me $365.00 plus $50.00 gift card for iPhone 6 so that is a total of $415.00 and I just have to pay the difference

Somehow I doubt Best Buy lets you have your iPhone early, but with less than a day left...I don't think it's a huge deal anymore.

Well folks apparently the email I got today from Best Buy with a date of 9/24 pickup was WRONG I got an email and a phone call at 6:30pm and they apologized for the date and the correct date should have been 9/25. Apparently here in central Florida many pre-order customers got the same email......talk about a dumb *** at best Buy!!!

Well to be fair, most products at Best Buy do not come with the same magnitude of release date as the iPhone, so when you order 99.9999999% of the other products from Best Buy, the day they come into the store or the day they get them on a local truck for delivery will be the day you can come in and get it. They probably have a notification system that follows the same format for EVERYTHING they sell except these smart phone releases, and I doubt they want to invest in modifications to the system just to cover those releases once or twice a year.

That's just a guess though.

I got the same email this morning saying that I was scheduled to pick up my order yesterday haha. Picking up this afternoon!!!
