Apparently it's not because of the new aluminum but because of the 3D touch. Do you think the 6S plus especially will be to heavy? How heavy is it compared to the 5S?

5s...3.95 ounces (112 grams)
6....4.55 ounces (129 grams)
6+.... 6.07 ounces (172 grams)
6s... 5.04 ounces (143 grams)
6s+... 6.77 ounces (192 grams)

If you can tell the difference between a 6/6s or 6+/6s+ you're a better person than I...

In addition, the iPhone 4S, with a 3.5 inch display, weighed 140 grams, and it still feels heavier than my iPhone 6 Plus weighing 172 grams. I doubt the slight increase of weight (less than a full ounce) in comparison to the current iPhone 6 and 6 Plus will be noticed.

Whenever I held a 5s, I thought it was too light. I think I'll appreciate the extra heft. I like phones with more density to them when in hand.

I really won't mind. The phone is amazing and I just can't wait to have it in my hands. Who cares about minor weight increments?

I always find it funny when news sites make a big deal about stuff like this.

I don't know anyone that could tel the difference between the two honestly. If it means more features then I'm all for it.

I'll tell the difference between my 5 and the 6s Plus. It's 80 grams. It'll take getting used to.

I could understand that one, I was talking about the difference between the iphone 6 plus and iphone 6s plus since it only gained a small amount of weight.

I think honestly the size will be your biggest obstacle to get use to, not the weight.

To me its welcomed. I am going from 6s+ to 6s. Its going to be lighter to me anyway, but the added weight is a certainly welcomed.
