"Pay in full" T-mobile option was internationally unlocked last year. Should be same this year - that's what i were ordering.

i spoke to apple yesterday , as i also want to send my buddy a iPhone 6splus,he is in India - However, the Apple customer care rep told me to wait for the sim free version.
So if you would like to take a chance then go for it.
