So there's always been discussion about what the "S" has stood for in the "S" models of iPhones. Thus far (and correct me if I'm wrong), the "S" has stood for:
- 3GS: Speed
- 4S: Siri
- 5s: Security
As such, 6s is?
My best guesses: Sense or Simplicity; Sense for the fact that much of what the 6s/iOS 9 is doing is sensing interaction with you, including 3D Touch, anticipating (Sensing) needs, providing a more Sensory experience to everything, including the Taptic Engine and Live Photos. Simplicity for the fact that 3D Touch, Proactive Assistant, and all of the other innovations/refinements in the 6s/iOS 9 seem to be for the purpose of Simplifying the interaction with the iPhone.
Deep thread, I know. Super important stuff being discussed here. Anyways, thoughts?
