Welcome to iMore. I'm wondering the same thing. Will the 6s/6s Plus upgrades be worth me upgrading to the latest and greatest iPhone......I guess I will have to wait until it's released to make that decision....POST often and......ENJOY
Well i heard that the 6S has veen confirmed to have 2 GB of RAM, 12 MP Camera, Force Touch, and an improved A9 processor that's much more optimized than its predecessor. Which means a longer battery life and better performance. The 6S also has a stronger aluminum casing to eliminate the bend-ability of the phone that the 6 was experiencing.
That's true but what i mean is that if the specs are confirmed, are the 6 and 6S that far off from each other?
We don't know yet. No one has used a 6s to review it. If rumors hold true, I would hope the differences would be enough to upgrade. A 12 mp camera would make zooming and cropping much better I think. 2 gb of RAM should make loading in Safari faster. But we won't know these things until we try it on.
Yeah i agree, i guess i'll just wait for the reviews of the 6S to come out. I might just stick with the 6 because these phones update like every six months, so you'll never catch up with the latest technologies unless you got alot of money to spend.
But anyways, does anyone know how i can extend the battery life of my iphone 6? i turned off locations services, background app refresh, handoff suggestions, mail checks are set to manual and i only have notifications for 4 applications

Welcome to the forum. One thing I experienced with my device is disabling auto screen brightness increased my battery life. Also, ios 9's Low Power mode dramatically increases battery life.
If the extra features are confirmed and the OP mentions that he has been able to confirm them then by all means go ahead and upgrade. To minimize loss on your wallet, sell the iPhone 6 now before the value drops after Apple's announcement in September. However, if the confirmed rumours just turn out to be rumours then well....you get the idea....
My 6 plus is stellar I'll just get the I watch and I'm good for the rest of the year
Like you, I'm very pleased with my iPhone 6 Plus, and especially pleased how well iOS 9 is running on it so I'm not in a rush to upgrade to the next iPhone.
Each new design and model phone comes out, they usually will give a new features , whether iphone and s*****ng. so it's worth to upgrade it, i watch bendtest from youtube that they using the material for the new iphone 6s cover already different and huge differences material between iphone 6 and 6s, but i never experience the bend, so better upgrade for prevent those things
